It’s God’s Choice offers music lessons and a representative from the school of music will be on hand. The event will take place on Saturday, June 4th, 2005 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at It’s God’s Choice, 1454 Addison Road South, Capitol Heights, Maryland. “Since It’s God’s Choice first opened its doors, they have helped the community by serving as a drop off point for people to bring clothes that are donated to a local church. The store owners have also assisted non-profit organizations through free giveaways of merchandise and free evangelism tools. The store’s manager has volunteered to speak at several events for non-profit organizations and has sponsored free seminars at the store,” states Carolyn Walker. It's God’s Choice is a “…Christian Bookstore that not only offers books and other Christian material but a warm, genuine owner who shares the word of God in a very special way,” emphasizes Eugene Williams Sr., author of the book “Grounded in the Word.” The event schedule for the celebration is as follows: ** From 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. • Book signing by Joanne Keini, author of “I Will Praise Him.” “This book is a fictional romance novel that inspires the reader by applying biblical principles and practices in a contemporary setting,” states Angela Rogers of ADA Unity Publishers. ** From 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. • Book signing by Peggy Thomas Templeman, author of “I Bear a Cross: Coming into Oneness with God.” “This book is a spiritual autobiography, where the author describes her 40 year struggle with depression and how she survived,” states Carolyn Walker. • Piano Music by Linda Kazmarek, pianist and recording artist of “Believe” CD and other recordings. “For those who love Christian instrumental music, they should really enjoy the musical stylings of worship music as well as an original piano composition,” states Carolyn Walker. ** From 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. • Book signing by JoAnn Moore, author of “God’s Touch Inspirational Writing.” This book “is filled with poetry that should touch your heart,” states Carolyn Walker. • Book signing by Minister Donnie Edwards, author of “God Can’t Bless No Mess,” “Fully Persuaded,” “The Devils Biggest Narcotic: Doubt and Fear.” In 2002, It’s God’s Choice Christian Bookstore was founded by Thelma Lee, a former employee of Rejoice Christian Bookstore and who has over 10 years of experience in this field.
